Join us at the Indianapolis ParkerStore on Thursday, August 20th from 11:00am – 1:00pm for product demos, technical training, and boxed lunches catered from Jimmy John’s!

11:00AM – 12:00PM: Thread ID & Safety Works
Identifying thread types in industrial applications can be very confusing. This class will show you how to identify SAE, NPT, Metric & BSP thread types and will discuss hydraulic systems best safety practices.
- How to identify SAE, NPT, Metric & BSP threads and the use of thread gauges, calipers and thread profiles
- Proper hose assembly and routing guidelines
- Review proper practices & maintaining safe conditions with regards to fluid systems

12:00PM – 1:00PM: Hose Assembly and Crimping Techniques
Not all Hoses are created equal and, more importantly, not all Crimps are the same. Safety is the first priority in producing a successful Hose Assembly and we will teach you how to do it the right way. In addition we will show you how to properly inspect a hose assembly to make sure you have what you need to keep your people safe and your equipment running without leaks. Every student will produce a full ISO9000 rated hose assembly; they make great conversation pieces for your desk or Tool Box!
